Steph Jagger is a Guinness World Record holder, published author, & avid skier; and from July 2010 to May 2011, she circumnavigated the globe in search of one thing: snow. What she didn't plan on finding atop the world's whitest peaks, was herself.
For a year, Steph traveled and skied full-time and in the end, she skied over 4.1 Million vertical feet, breaking the world record for most vertical feet ever skied in a single year. Her original goal was 4,000,000 feet—but when she found out about the record she couldn’t help but beat it!
In our interview Steph shares candidly what went into planning and executing on such a bold trip, and how she was able to translate that experience into her new book, Unbound: A Story of Snow & Self-Discovery.

Mary Shores and I first met when we were both crewing a Tony Robbins event, back in 2016, and at the time she was in the final throes of writing her book, Conscious Communications: Your Step-by-Step Guide to Harnessing the Power of Your Words to Change Your Mind, Your Choices, and Your Life.
What I didn’t know at the time was that Mary had actually WON a chance to be published through Hay House Publishing. In case you’re not familiar, Hay House is an internationally known publishing house that has produced Best Sellers from people like Mike Dooley, Gabby Bernstein, Mariane Williamson, Wayne Dyer, and countless others.
So yeah… kind of a big deal.
Mary is a long-time entrepreneur and now, a Best-Selling author, but you'd never guess how she's managed to merge her worlds to create such a fulfilling career. Passionate about re-writing how our country faces debt, Mary has built up her debt collection agency over the past decade, and she's used this experience as a catalyst to help people choose the words they use to better their life. The debt industry is fraught with negativity and shame, but through research, Mary has been able to articulate in her book how a simple shift in our language can reframe our entire experience.
I love getting a scientific approach to personal development, and Mary's book delivers just that. Take a listen to today's interview, grab a copy of her book, and start to see how conscious communication can change your life.

This week's guest is easily one of the most passionate we've had on the show. In this episode, Michael holds nothing back as we chat about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, and how he went from being a wedding videographer, to filming for big names like Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss & Richard Branson.
Through his journey, Michael discovered that the secret to finding success (AKA the crossroads of achievement and fulfillment, a la Tony Robbins) is to avoid the "shoulds" at all cost, and never stop taking action. Massive Imperfect Action, to be specific.
Be it his career as a film & video expert, or as a coach for creatives, Michael has held his ground when it comes to chasing every new trend, and following the advice of everyone else in the industry. Sometimes, the best way to build your business, is to do what lights you up.
One thing that Michael has done so well is persist in his attempts to connect with top influencers. And based on his portfolio, it's served him well.
Tenacity (and admittedly, naiveté) have paid off in his pursuits of big name gigs. His advice: always show up with energy, and invest in the long game. Michael says, “For me, a non-response just means they didn’t see it."

After quitting one of the top Universities in Canada to move to New York, Sean Kim sold everything he owned and headed south. But when he reached the U.S. border, he was denied entry and the visa he'd been relying on for his new life, was revoked.
This unfortunate turn of events took him all the way to Argentina with no money and no plan. In an effort to avoid any additional shame on his traditional Asian family, he was determined to make it work. Through geo-arbitrage, ingenious personal branding, and his entrepreneurial spirit, Sean went from nothing to building a successful language learning business, and hosting an inspirational podcast with some of today’s most well-known authors and thought leaders.

After building and selling a multi-million dollar healthcare company, Laura Coe had an epiphany. She realized that success without fulfillment is nothing. But how do we achieve fulfillment? How do we feel a sense of purpose when on the surface we’re doing everything right?
Her answer: authenticity.
Step one was to revisit her passion for philosophy and she started taking action based on what ancient philosophers had noted about passion and purpose. Now, she takes those ideas and through her coaching, her podcast The Art of Authenticity, and her writing she is able to help others to do the same. Laura's hope is that everyone can uncover their truth and build a life that is successful and truly meaningful.

JP Sears is a YouTube sensation and author of How to Be Ultra Spiritual: 12½ Steps to Spiritual Superiority, and I’m thrilled to have him back on the show! If you’re not familiar with JP’s hilarious, satirical videos, you can check them out at AwakenWithJP.com and listen to when he was on the show during season one.
I invited JP to come back on the show because I wanted to know how life has changed since publishing How to be Ultra Spiritual, and learn more about his plans for the future.
JP’s even more popular than last time he was on the show, and that comes with both new challenges and opportunities. He’s using the friction to maintain clarity and evolve, as a spiritual being and as an online personality.
JP is getting more “unapologetically direct” with his message, but he’s not ditching the comedy. He’s learning how to use it in new ways to connect with and reach even more people.

Manu (better known as "Swish") is an inspiring young man, who I knew I wanted to interview as soon as I heard his story. He's a 19 yr old student at the University of Toronto, who ALSO happens to be an award-winning serial tech entrepreneur, a UN Youth Ambassador, an early stage tech investor, and TEDx speaker, JUST to name a few.
I wondered, how can someone have accomplished so much at such a young age? How did he know this was even possible? What inspires him?
“In no other time in history has it been easier to start a business."
In today's interview I find out the core set of beliefs that Swish embodies on a daily basis to continually go after people, projects, and experiences that others would avoid for fear of failure.
We also learn who Swish considers to be his biggest mentors, and what is next on the horizon for this 19-yr-old college student. You'll be shocked to hear what he's lined up.
Manu is an embodiment of what it means to take bold action. Never held back by age or or location or any other "limitations" that people often use as excuses to keep them from their goals, Manu proves time and time again that anything is possible when you get creative, get persistent, and take bold action.
“You don’t go to a TEDx talk to learn about things as much as to get inspired to go DO Things."

Emilie Wapnick is what she calls a “multipotentialite”. And recently I learned, I'm one too.
There’s a good chance if you’re reading this, you have some multipotentilite tendencies as well.
According to Emilie’s site:
"Multipotentialites generally have diverse interests across numerous domains and may be capable of success in many endeavors or professions, they are confronted with unique decisions as a result of these choices."
In her new book, How to be everything - A Guide for Those Who Still Don’t Know What They Want to Be When They Grow Up, Emilie dissects exactly what it means to be one of these gifted, multi-talented individuals. In it, she explains how you can more easily approach a world where specialization reigns supreme, and we learn that in today's society flexibility can prove to be more lucrative than specialty.
I first came across Emilie’s work when one of my clients told me about her community of multipotentialites, called “the puttytribe” and I knew I had to connect with her. As someone who firmly believes that not everyone is built to follow one true passion, I knew that Emilie would have some awesome insights to share.
Apparently I’m not the only one who resonates with this concept, because her TEDx talk titled “Why some people don’t have a true calling” went viral and has since been viewed over 3 MILLION times.
Emilie is paving the way for the polymath/multipotentialite community, and really anyone who has ever felt like they couldn't be fit into a box.

A few years ago, Joel got tired of living an average life. He was waiting for things to happen but they never did, so he decided to do something about it. He created a list of the things he used to think were impossible and started doing them. Now he lives a life of adventure, runs multiple online businesses under the IMPOSSIBLE brand, and continues to do the impossible.
“How many things out there that you’re telling yourself are impossible are easily doable if you just put in the time, effort and training it requires?”
It all began with The Impossible List™. The list begain small, with just one thing he wasn’t sure was achievable: completing a triathlon. From there, it grew to dozens of Impossible challanges created and completed.
Once you do the impossible, you start to redefine your limitations. The blog isn’t a bucket list, or a list of things he hopes to do before he dies – it’s an ever-expanding list of his limits and what he can go beyond.
In his business, Joel is focusing on building out his team under the IMPOSSIBLE umbrella. He’s also breaking out his content across different subjects into separate businesses so that each can niche down even further.
“I’m getting better at being more explicit in what each business does, what needs to be done to run it, and who I need to take actions on those tasks.”
The next step is scaling it all. Joel is investing money, resources and his own time into preparing his team so that they can better help him grow the IMPOSSIBLE brand. He’s leveling up his role from manager to owner.
Joel and his team at Impossible X recently re-launched the 777 Project – an endurance, adventure and philanthropic initiative to run 7 ultra marathons on 7 continents in order to raise money and awareness to build 7 schools with Pencils of Promise. They will provide opportunities to those for whom a basic education can be impossible.
Loved getting to grab time with Joel amidst all of his adventures
